The new Portobello High School, located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, delivers a state-of-the-art campus for 1,400 pupils. Replacing an old inefficient building, the new school offers a dramatically different facility for the staff and pupils by providing a spacious, bright and airy building.

The school also hosts the local community with a range of sporting facilities including two full-size all-weather football pitches, 25m swimming pool, gymnasium and a games hall.

Rybka’s involvement in the project has seen the delivery of a low energy and predominantly naturally ventilated delivering exemplary energy performance credentials.
