the rybka difference

Refurbishment of a neoclassical bank reflecting the 1930's American art deco era.

Value: £10M
Client: Chris Stewart Group
Architect: Morgan McDonell

42 St Andrew Square is a neoclassical bank building completed in 1942, and reflects the art deco era of 1930s America. The redevelopment of this impressive building will see the striking 1860s Venetian Gothic facade linked sympathetically to a contemporary new build office created from high quality stone and glazing.

Rybka have been commissioned to design the building services strategy for this building, which will feature 50 luxury serviced apartments as well as commercial units containing bar, restaurant and café accommodation.
