Located in Anstruther, Fife, the new Waid Academy is being designed as a state-of-the-art replacement for the existing school. The academy will provide secondary school accommodation for up to 800 pupils, and will also cater for the local community with the provision of a library, local office and other council services. The aesthetically-striking school will also feature an international standard all-weather sports pitch for football and rugby.

Rybka’s multi-disciplinary role in the project has involved the development of the building services design strategy and the conducting of an assessment under Fife Council’s Sustainability Checklist.
