The new Dumfries High School is one of 25 projects selected as part of Phase 2 of the Scottish Government’s Learning Estate Investment Programme (LEIP).
The new school, which will be built on the existing site, will accommodate circa 900 senior pupils. Energy efficient measures incorporated with the building fabric and M&E systems operating energy have resukted in a LEIP band A energy target. Community use has been included within the design setting the new school in the heart of the local population.
