This historic building, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1903, is unparalleled in its design and is a unique space for art, architecture and design lovers. The Tea Rooms are a key visitor attraction in Glasgow, featuring an extensive programme of exhibitions and events.
An international competition was held for the position of the restoration team, with architectural and design practices being required to demonstrate capability of restoring and creating a state-of-the-art visitor, educational and exhibition centre.
Rybka are providing the mechanical and electrical services for the project. The underlining focus of the design of the building services is to support the complexity of the project with expertise that ensures that every detail is considered with respect and admiration for the site.
