Presented with the challenges associated to designing auditoria, Rybka developed a design solution that satisfied individual occupant requirements whilst also maximising energy efficiency within the large spaces. The 21,500sqft theatre comprises of a large auditorium, dance and recording studios, classrooms and a 6,500sqft social space. The project formed part of the £65M Orkney Islands Council Schools Investment Programme, which Rybka was involved with throughout.
