After working closely with City of Edinburgh Council to develop a Sustainability KPI framework to ensure overall implementation of sustainability design principles, Rybka were appointed as part of the James Gillespie’s High School campus master plan to carry out BREEAM and wider sustainability consultancy services from feasibility stage through to the occupation of the build.
The three-phase development comprises of a new-build Teaching Block, Sports Hall and Performance Theatre as well as the refurbishment of the listed Bruntsfield House.
Furthering on the BREEAM process, Rybka worked closely with the City of Edinburgh Council to develop a Sustainability KPI framework to ensure overall implementation of sustainability design principles.
The three developments achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating, and Rybka has been appointed to ensure sustainability aspirations are maintained during occupation.
