Rybka was involved in the design of a £1.1m refurbishment of the 8 bedroom inpatients wing at Accord Hospice. New accommodation comprised of patient bedrooms with ensuites, utility rooms, conditioned drugs store, family lounge, and nurse bases. The project involved an upgrade of all the building services systems associated with the ward. The facility at handover provided state of the art modern care facilities which were representative of those found in a new build hospice.
