Extensive refurbishment of Oban Ferry Terminal's M&E systems.

We at Rybka are delighted to see Oban Ferry Terminal after the extensive refurbishment of its M&E systems.

We designed systems to improve the buildings environmental conditions and significantly reduce the facilities carbon footprint. Energy saving features now include:

– Demand controlled mechanical ventilation using CO2 feedback control methods to maintain indoor air quality that automatically adjusts the ventilation rate provided to the terminal spaces in response to changes in conditions based on occupant numbers and indoor pollutant concentrations.

– Comfort cooling and heating is now achieved using highly efficient Hybrid R32 VRF with 2-pipe heat recovery.

-New LED lighting throughout the facility with daylight dimming and absence detection.

-Upgraded building management controls with data logging, allowing our client to monitor and scrutinize indoor environmental conditions and energy consumption profiles.
