Projekt 42

Rybka are delighted to announce involvement with Projekt 42, a social enterprise initiative set up by Sara Hawkins, which aims to provide a not-for-profit health and well-being facility for those dealing with mental health issues. It will offer affordable fitness classes, guided meditation, life coaching and counselling sessions to anyone requiring its services.

The Projekt 42 facility will be located on Halmyre Street, Edinburgh but is currently operating from a temporary home in the Newkirkgate shopping centre in Leith. Once complete, the charity hopes to help over 700 people each week, enabling them to better understand the connection between their body and mind.

Rybka are designing the building services, working in collaboration with the wider project team, which includes Buccleuch Property, Axiom, CDA and Quattro Consult.

Projekt 42 are now looking for key materials to move the project forward, including solar panels and portable cabins to make up the main body of the building. If you think you can help out or want to find out more, visit https://www.projekt42.co.uk
