Our Regional Director, Amit, enjoyed his visit to Plas Menai this week to review the performance of the centre’s recently installed GSHPs and ASHP which form a fundamental part of the building’s decarbonisation strategy.
The new heating system replaced old oil burning boilers which together with an extensive PV array has significantly reduced the 1980s listed building’s carbon footprint and provides a clear route map for Sports Wales achieving a net zero carbon building.
Rybka carefully designed the new LZCT systems using existing plantroom accommodation with all works being completed in a live, fully operational, national sports facility. We look forward to continuing our RIBA stage 7 services for Sports Wales.
