Following the success of Phase 1 of the South Lanarkshire Council Primary School Modernisation Programme, Rybka were appointed to deliver the M&E services for Phase 2 of the programme. This phase involved providing innovative M&E design solutions for an additional seven new primary schools over the ten schools constructed in Phase 1.
As well as designing the building services strategy, Rybka also carried out the BREEAM assessments in all the schools. Through the provision of modern education facilities and community facilities, including libraries, public halls and nurseries, the school building stock of the local authority was transformed.
