Rybka were involved in the design of a new-build 32 bed private mental health care facility in Baillieston for Meallmore Ltd, which was completed in August 2014. The building contains a wood pellet biomass system with purpose-built storage, which subsequently supplies the base demand for the building’s space heating and DHW systems. Specific project requirements included compliance with the Care Inspectorate’s guidance and the provision of anti-ligature fittings. The building is fully sprinklered and has a ‘wet’ underfloor heating system throughout.
